Discover the joy of making with your hands in our Junior Makers Club! Designed for ages8-11, this creative class focuses on building real crafting, handmaking, and art skills through fun, useful projects kids can be proud of.
Each week, young makers explore a variety of hands-on techniques, including:
Working with polymer clay and air-dry clay for sculpting and creating charming figures or keepsakes
Sewing and simple crochet to make soft items
Crafting felt plushies and other cuddly creations
Decorating plant pots and other everyday objects into colorful home décor
Painting with acrylics and watercolors
Line drawing and mixed-media art
Recycled crafts that turn ordinary materials into something special
Projects are designed to be age-appropriate, practical, and cool—think handmade gifts, room decorations, small functional items, and one-of-a-kind art pieces that kids can use or display. Along the way, they’ll strengthen fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence as they learn techniques they can keep using long after class ends.
Duration: 75 minutes Schedule: Thursday 4:15PM
