My Story & Our Mission

Hi, I'm Christine, a passionate homeschool mom and lifelong creator born in Puerto Rico and currently living in Tampa Bay, Florida. For over 20 years, I've poured my heart into arts and crafts—experimenting with paints, papers, fabrics, and everything in between. Along the way, my work has been featured in Parents Magazine and local news outlets, celebrating creative parenting and hands-on learning that brings joy to families.

I've always dreamed of a dedicated space where people could come together to create freely, laugh often, and leave feeling inspired to keep making. That dream is now a reality with Be Creative Tampa, a welcoming enrichment studio designed for families like yours.

Here, we offer engaging, hands-on classes in arts and crafts, STEM explorations (building, experimenting, and problem-solving), and mommy-and-me music sessions filled with songs, movement, and bonding. Whether your child is discovering their first watercolor wash, engineering a sturdy tower, or giggling through rhythm games with you, every class happens in a fun, happy, positive environment that celebrates creativity without pressure.

Our mission is simple: to spark imagination, build confidence, and nurture a lifelong love of creating. We believe everyone—kids, teens, toddlers, and parents—has something unique to express. In our small, supportive groups, you'll find encouragement, fresh ideas, and the freedom to explore art, science, and music in ways that feel meaningful and joyful.
